Overview/Project Accomplishments:
- Installing MEPF overhead inside of the Great Hall and Education wing.
- Painting intumescent fireproofing on elevator columns .
- Framing interior walls in the Exhibit Hall.
- Installing exterior wall framing clips on the Exhibit Hall.
- Roof vapor barrier system on the Exhibit Hall roof complete.
- Fireproofing spray ongoing on underside of Exhibit Hall roof.
- Installing Rotunda glass structural steel.
- Completed the Lincoln Lobby structural steel and decking.
- Completed roof waterproofing over the Education wing
Christmas Lunch at the Construction Site (22 December 2023)
The Linbeck leadership team served their annual Christmas lunch to their workers today (22 December 2023). This was a significant gesture by the Linbeck Leadership Team as it showed support, gratitude, and demonstrated their commitment to the well-being of their team, especially during the holiday season. The Linbeck leadership team personified ‘servant leadership’ and it reminded me of my experiences in the military when our leaders would serve ‘the troops’ Thanksgiving and Christmas meals.
