Waterproofing

We have taken the first steps in constructing the event/parade lawns that surround the museum.  The lawns will serve as a ‘green roof’ over the Rotunda level building areas.   More than 40,000sf (roughly one acre) of waterproofing (see picture 2) has been installed by Centennial Moisture Control of Irving, TX.  Next steps will include a combination of geofoam and earthen fill to support natural vegetation.
