Theater
This state-of-the-art, 239-seat Theater will be the performance centerpiece of the Museum. The Theater will host speaker programs, author talks, musical performances, events with Medal of Honor Recipients, a Medal of Honor themed movie festival, and other attention-grabbing presentations. As an essential space supporting the Museum’s education and leadership programs, the Theater’s design will facilitate a wide variety of presentation and performance types. The Theater will be equipped to support the needs of on-site local and national media coverage for world-class events and programs hosted at the Museum.
The Theater interior measures 73’-8” by 52’-4” and the view to the lake will be through a glass wall 23’ tall. The glass wall is being made in Germany and is designed as a structural glass system with glass fins and no mullions.
*The ‘Future’ Image (far right) does not reflect the final design of the interior of the Theater.
