Spiral Staircase Installation Progress:

The Spiral Staircases are taking shape!

They are gradually starting to spiral down from the Museum’s exhibition box, thanks to the amazing efforts of Bosworth Steel Erectors, LLC.

The two (2) intertwining helix shaped stairs are 3D curved and fully welded under Architecturally Exposed Structural Steel (AESS) specifications.

More stair elements are on their way from the Netherlands to complete this double helix structure (four (4) segments are arriving tomorrow (24 August) and the last (bottom) segments of the stair along with the bridges are scheduled to arrive at the end of September).

We are grateful for AIP Partners B.V., who engineered, fabricated, and transported this complex structure.

The ornamental stairs were designed by Rafael Vinoly Architects.
